The greatest tragedy in life is not death, for death is just an entrance to another paradigm, the paradigm of eternity. Sin is the greatest problem in human history. For by it all are condemned and destined to damnation. It is not a choice, it is our condition. Condition as a sinner before it became our actions. Sin is punishable by law, and we transgress before the Holy God. We miss the mark of righteousness, we disavowed to the Divine Transcendent. Our iniquity found us guilty and we are under the wrath of the Divine. You cannot change your status quo and never. Your ways and righteousness is as filthy rags for disposal. Only the One True Living God can change your course. Without shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.
Jesus substitutionary death appeased the wrath of God. He became sin for you who knew no sin, that He might bring you to God and be forgiven. Your only hope is Christ. There is no forgiveness outside of Christ. He is the only way to heaven as He claimed to be in John 14:6. He is the author of life everlasting. He is the perfect embodiment of VERITAS (TRUTH).
Come to Jesus and repent of your sins. Receive His forgiveness and be a child of God as He promised in John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the child of God. (Όσοι όμως έλαβαν αυτόν, σ’ αυτούς έδωσε εξουσία τέκνα Θεού να γίνουν· σ’ όσους πιστεύουν στ’ όνομά του,). Power in that context came from the Greek word (εξουσία "exousia"), which means authority in English lexicon.
